VOCATIONAL TASTERS & WORK EXPERIENCE PLACEMENTS
Vocational Tasters allows learners to gain an understanding and knowledge of an industry. Learners are then able to make a more informed choice of vocational and career paths/options.
Work Experience Placements allows learners to gain first hand experience of working within industries that are relevant to interest and skill level.
Educational outcomes include entry to open employment and pathways access to other vocational training opportunities. Some examples include:

CERTIFICATE I IN WORK EDUCATON DETAILS
- National Code: 22128VIC
- Units: 6 core + 4 elective
- Delivery Mode: Classroom, Directed Study, Vocational Tasters and Work Placement
- Duration: 6 months, 2 days per week (including work placement)
- Work Placement: 4-8 weeks of work placement must be undertaken as part of the requirements of this qualification
- Assessment: Written, simulated and work place based practical observations
- Prior experience: RPL and Credit Transfer is available
