Education Consultant

Full-time role in Melbourne (CBD)

Duties

  • Assisting all customer queries and consulting course information to all potential students via phone or on-site
  • Converting leads into sales reaching monthly KPI’s using Hubspot
  • Managing enrolments in a timely manner focusing on internal leads and from stakeholders.
  • Using VETtrak Student management system to support all student queries.
  • Handling Live Chats for the organisation
  • Handling reception/student services when required

 

Required skills

  • Able to self-manage & proactively problem solve.
  • Understanding of CRM tools – with an ability to learn new tools with ease. Hubspot experience advantageous.
  • Advantageous if from a RTO background.
  • Minimum 2-3 years sales experience.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills.
  • Great customer service skills.

VET Trainers & Assessors
CHC (Disability)

Melbourne: CBD and Werribee campuses

To deliver: CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability

Successful applicants will:

  • hold Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116, or equivalent or higher) with TAELLN411 and TAEASS502
  • have a good understanding of the VET industry and The Standards for RTOs 2015
  • have vocational qualifications relevant to area of expertise and at the AQF level to be delivered
  • be able to demonstrate current industry experience (at least three years)
  • be able to demonstrate VET experience in training international students (advantageous)
  • be a confident and competent classroom trainer, able to assess and submit student results in a timely way
  • have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • have experience developing session plans and learning resources (desired)
  • hold a Working with Children’s Check

To deliver: SIT30716 Certificate III in Hospitality
SIT40416 Certificate IV in Hospitality
SIT 50416 Diploma of Hospitality Management

The preferred candidate will have the following;

  • A Certificate IV in Hospitality or Diploma of Hospitality Management
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
  • Working with Children Check
  • Relevant and current industry experience
  • Candidates with previous experience of workplace based training – Apprenticeships and Traineeships is mandatory
  • Relevant VET knowledge and knowledge of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015
  • Experience in delivering VET training
  • Ability to work with and train students from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds
  • Are required to travel to worksites across the Greater Metropolitan area

 

Key Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver quality training, conduct assessments and provide feedback
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and control groups of students in a learning environment
  • Demonstrated computer skills and the ability to utilise a range of electronic technologies within a learning environment
  • Extensive industry knowledge, skills and teaching experience in the hospitality field
  • Demonstrated ability to engage, and maintain links with industry
  • Ability to assist with the development and validation of learning and assessment resources
  • Demonstrated ability to follow, implement and comply with policies and procedures including student results and assessment feedback
  • The ability to work in a cooperative manner with others

 

The successful applicants may be employed initially between 2 to 4 days per week with the possibility of full time employment post sessional engagement.

  • A Certificate IV in Education Support or higher
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
  • Working with Children Check
  • Relevant and current industry experience
  • Candidates with experience of both class-based and work-based training, (Traineeships) are preferred
  • Relevant VET knowledge and knowledge of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015
  • Experience in delivering VET training
  • Ability to work with and train students from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds
  • For delivery of Traineeships will be required to travel to worksites across the Greater Metropolitan area
