MCIE is proud to announce that one of their Hospitality students, Murray Harris, has been selected as a finalist for the 2013 Victorian Training Awards ‘Vocational Student of the Year’. Murray will proudly represent MCIE at the 59th Victorian Training Awards this September.

The Training Awards recognise outstanding contribution and achievement in vocational education. Winners of individual awards each receive a $10,000 fellowship and the opportunity to represent Victoria at the 2013 Australian Training Awards in Perth.

MCIE was more than happy to nominate Murray for this award. Murray has been an outstanding student at MCIE and his incredible achievements, commitment to quality and passion for the industry deserves recognition. His Instructor Bernard Liversidge describes Murray as;

‘A very passionate student and giving person’

‘I have known him since he started his training and I am so proud of his achievements. He is a very deserving finalist, we are behind him the whole way’.

Murray will be recognised among the state’s best apprentices, trainees, teachers, employers and training providers and all are highly deserving of their nominations.

Good luck Murray!
