Step 1: Check Personal Email
Our Tech Support Team has sent your MCIE Account information with your MCIE Email address and password to your personal email address. Please make sure to check both your inbox and spam folder. (Ex. xxxxxx@student.mcie.edu.au)
Step 2: Go to the Sign-Up Page
Head over to the Microsoft 365 website click Sign-in to Get Started!
Step 3: Enter Your School Email and Password
From your email, copy the MCIE email address provided (e.g., xxxxxx@student.mcie.edu.au), then click Next
Step 4: Enter the Temporary Password
Enter the temporary password as indicated on the screen.
Step 5: Update Password
Copy/paste the temporary password from your email and create your new password. Please remember to keep this information secure and do not share your credentials with anyone.
Step 6: Setup MFA
To complete the process, you’ll also be prompted to set up Microsoft Authentication for added account security. Please refer to Setting Up Microsoft Authenticator.pdf for instructions on how to set up MFA.
